Wendy Shay Renews Contract with Rufftown Records/Midas Touch Inc.

Ghanaian singer and songwriter Wendy Shay has officially renewed her contract with Rufftown Records/Midas Touch Inc., signaling the continuation of her successful partnership with the label.
In a recent interview with DJ Slim on the Loud Lounge, Wendy Shay revealed that the previous disputes between her and the label’s CEO, Bullet, have been resolved. The reconciliation came about through the intervention of some influential figures, allowing both parties to move forward positively.
“Bullet and I are back together. We are working together, so you guys should watch out,” Wendy Shay announced. “I had a problem with Bullet, but some elders stepped in, and the issue has been resolved.”
The disagreement was primarily professional, revolving around a 360 Record Label deal that Bullet initially disapproved of. Wendy Shay clarified that while the situation inspired her to write a song, it was not intended as a direct shot at Bullet.
“As creatives, we write based on our situations without even thinking,” she explained. “The song was inspired by the situation, but it’s not directed at Bullet.”
Expressing her excitement about the renewed collaboration, Wendy Shay assured fans that this reunion would result in more great music and further success for her career.
