Ghanaian Chef Ebenezer Smith Sets Guinness World Records for Longest Cooking Marathon

Ghanaian Chef Ebenezer Smith has shattered the Guinness World Record for the longest cooking marathon by an individual, clocking an astounding 802 hours and 25 minutes.
Chef Smith embarked on this ambitious cook-a-thon on February 1, aiming to surpass the previous record. The confirmation of his new world record came through a post on his Facebook page, with an official announcement scheduled for a press conference on Tuesday, July 2, 2024.

The cook-a-thon, which lasted over a month, concluded on March 5 and featured a star-studded lineup of performers, including Praye Tietia, Yaw Tog, Amerado, Kofi Jamar, and the Asakaa Boys. Throughout this extraordinary event, numerous celebrities such as Nana Ama McBrown, Clemento Suarez, Kwaku Manu, SDK, and OB Amponsah visited the Amadia Shopping Centre at Spintex to show their support.
