Coach Charles Akannor, the head coach of the national team, Black Stars and his two assistance have been sacked by the Executive Council of the Ghana Football Association.
The report has it that, the Coach and his two assistances contract with the Executive Council of the Ghana Football Association has been terminated following the aftermath of the two games that the Black Stars have played so far in the world cup qualifiers 2022, Ethiopia and South Africa.
The Executive Council after sacking them, has gone ahead o form a three (3) Member Committee which consists of Vice President Mark Addo, Upper East Regional Football Association Chairman, Alhaji Salifu Zida and DDrRandy Abbey to find a Head Coach and Assistant Coaches for the Black Stars within the next 72 hours.
This is not a surprising thing to the masses because it became their wish after the Black Stars executed abysmal performance on their game against the South which made South Africa scored them 1.
In their group “Group G”, South Africa is leading with 4 points, two matches, Ghana with 3 points, 2 Matches , follows by Zimbabwe and Ethiopia.
They will be playing against Zimbabwe in October 2021.
