The fast soaring female musician, Wendy Shay, in an interview on Empire FM a few days ago made her stand-in political sphere by saying tremendously that the incumbent NPP government has done a lot for the music industry.

She went ahead to state clearly that, her parents have profited from the Free SHS which was brought to existence by the current Government.

“The NPP has done a lot of good work and are still doing more in the creative arts industry. If you look at some of the things they have done, even not just the creative arts industry, for example, Free SHS, a lot of people have benefitted from the policy, ” she said

Wendy Shay’s statement didn’t go well with the popular radio presenter, Michael Boateng Nicknamed Mic 2.

He registered his uneasiness on his Facebook page and even went ahead to dare Wendy Shay that she should mention only one thing that the Party has done for the creative industry.

“New entrants in the industry like Wendy Shay and co whose uncles are directly active in the ruling party should shut up, they should come out and point one thing the party has done for the creative industry…let’s build the industry rather than our favorite political parties..” he said
